All Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation associates also have access to specific D&I modules, tailored to the needs of associates placed at different levels in the organization, including modules on skill development and multicultural awareness. These help our associates understand and appreciate the importance of an inclusive workplace.
An important D&I initiative has been to regularly identify employees to attend specialized programs. These specialized programs focus on diverse populations and are geared towards developing the leadership skills of the participants.
We also partner with various internal network groups and taskforces to organize leadership conferences that stimulate discussions on how diversity can be utilized to execute strategy around talent, culture and marketplace. In addition, employees are encouraged to participate in national D&I conferences and workshops to understand the importance of an inclusive workplace and to learn best practices employed by other organizations.
